RAF / AM MK VII FLYING GOGGLES
A good clean used pair of Mk VII RAF / AM flying goggles. Lens‘s are very clear and clean, free of age congealing. Original AM blue finish to frames being 70% present. Head strap is the ‘early’ leather type with integral spring loading, in very good clean serviceable order. Head strap also with owner service number in faint ink / pencil. Nose bridge leather with some wear but supple. Face cushions in similar condition, with cushion material showing some hardening. Flip shield bar still present. AM marked with stores code 22C/826 2023.
Very nice untouched goggles.

Goggles in un - touched, un - worn condition. Box of issue in very good condition, now slightly grubby to exterior.

RAF RADIO OBSERVER (RADAR OPERATER’S) 'RO' HALF BREVET
A rare RAF WW2 period Radar Operator’s half brevet as worn on the service and battledress. Excellent used standard issue pattern ‘partial padded’ half wing. Very clean damage free condition.
This was not a popular wing by those qualified to wear it as WW2 German air intelligence were very interested in British radar systems, and as such questioned captured operators at greater length, as to its use and working.
(The title Radio Observer was a ‘blind’ for the real duty of Radar Operator. German intelligence was not however ‘fooled’ by this title, as I have described.)
